Minor Abilities (1 pt)
Chakra Sponge, Lesser :: The weapon can absorb chakra from a technique. When used to parry, this reduces energy damage by as much as 5 points. This weapon can also be used to store as much as 10 chakra points at a time, and expands the user's own chakra pool. This chakra can only be used for techniques.
Cutting Edge, Lesser :: Naturally, the weapon can bypass 5 points of damage reduction. It also ignores 5 points of hardness.
Guided Weapon, Lesser :: The weapon gains a +1 bonus to all attack rolls.
Healing Weapon, Lesser :: Five times per day, the user may spend a full round action in healing their own body. This heal restores 10 points of stamina.
Living Weapon :: The weapon has a spirit within it. The spirit can activate the abilities of the weapon as if it were its own wielder, but in most cases will not be able to act as its own entity. The weapon also can communicate through empathy, by giving off a presence that carries emotion. This emotional presence is treated like a sense chakra check, and allows for anyone who is chakra sensitive to read the weapon's feelings.
Returning Weapon, Lesser :: The weapon, after being thrown, flies back to the wielder. However, it may only return to the user if the user is standing within 15 feet of the weapon. The user can recall their weapon at any time.
Spiritual Presence, Lesser :: The weapon gives off a chakra presence of a lesser source. This can be used to distract sensory type ninja. Once a day, as a free action, the user can attempt an intimidation check with the weapon having a -2 penalty toward the check.
Technique Casting (D Rank) :: Five times per day, the user is able to utilize a technique. They do not have to form any hand seals, but they still need to expel the chakra cost by channeling their energy into the weapon. The weapon can cast a single technique of the rank specified as a free action. This skill can be taken multiple times, but each time it is added to a weapon, a different technique must be added to the weapon.
Weapon Size, Large :: The weapon is one size category larger than normally allotted. The character takes a -2 to attack rolls with large weapons, and a +4 to damage rolls with large weapons.

If they have a mouth, they can communicate as if they were an animal, growling, purring and making other animal-like sounds. They may also have life-like features such as joints on the weapon where normally there would be no joint, allowing them to move parts of the weapon like limbs, allowing them to move on their own.
