Universal Ninja Skills
When creating a character, you may choose to have them start with the following jutsu already entered into their profile (regardless of whether or not their Ability Scores meet the requirements). Each of these jutsu count toward the jutsu total. However, you may choose to not include any number of these techniques.
NOTE - Because a Character only is allowed to start with a limited number of jutsu within his/her arsenal, it is up to the player to decide which of these skills are the going to be within their starting abilities. To figure out how many jutsu your character will have, refer to the Rankings and Explanations page and the Natural Ability Stats

Description: Ayatsuito no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing wire. It is used by having the wielder manipulate the strings from their hands and can be used in many ways. Some such ways it is used is for manipulating the path of shuriken, rappelling down from heights or even to tie down the opponent. Despite being known as a form of Ninjutsu, it is closer related to a form of Taijutsu.
Bunshin no Jutsu - Cloning Skill

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Description: General Taijutsu is a Taijutsu style which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. It's a basic taijutsu style that practices making the best use of straight-line attacks and movement. Most ninja tend to utilize this style because it's simple and effective.

Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.

Description: Chakra Jumping Skill is a Taijutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Using this skill, each ninja can jump higher than naturally capable. They exert more energy by pushing off of the ground using chakra that pushes out of the soles of their feet, but they can jump as high as 30 feet into the air.
Kai - Jutsu Release

Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a jutsu that has affected their body or chakra flow (such as a Genjutsu). After forming the needed handseals, the ninja will steady the flow of their chakra and return it to a natural state. This ends almost any technique that is targeting themselves. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Requirements: Kakuremino no Jutsu is a very basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja uses a camouflage cloth to cloak themselves in the background.
Katsu - Exploding Tag Activation

Description: Katsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Each exploding note has its own chakra signature that matches up with the creator's chakra. After placing the note in the target location, the user then forms a seal and releases a signal of chakra. The tag reacts to this signal by activating and then exploding with force that is similar to a stick of dynamite. An exploding note will only react to an activation signal from a source of chakra who matches that of its creator.

Description: Kinobori no Waza is a Taijutsu technique which every ninja learns from their Jounin instructor while on a Three-Man Cell. This skill allows for a ninja to walk on vertical faces and grip onto slick surfaces. A Genin-level ninja will be required to form the hand seal and concentrate their chakras prior to using this skill. However, higher ranked ninja will not be required to use a hand seal to concentrate.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Summoning Skill

Description: A useful Ninjutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows him to summon different size and skill levels of creature. In order to utilize this skill, a character must register their weapons and contract(s) in which they wish to use. Each summon will have its own chakra cost that goes with the jutsu, directly depending on the power and abilities of the summon.
Nawanuke no Jutsu - Escaping Skill

Description: Nawanuke is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns from their Jounin instructor while at the Ninja Academy. This basic technique allows a ninja to escape from rope binds. +4 to all Escape Artist checks involving untying rope.
Suimen Hokou no Waza - The Art of Water Walking

Description: Suimen Hokou no Waza is a Taijutsu technique which every ninja learns from their Jounin instructor while on a Three-Man Cell. This skill allows for a ninja to float and walk across water and other liquids which a being would not be able to normally walk over. A Genin-level ninja will be required to form the hand seal and concentrate their chakras prior to using this skill. However, higher ranked ninja will not be required to use a hand seal to concentrate.
