Dodging is a universal skill. It requires no amount of stats to utilize and is only judged by whether or not your character is capable of doing so. This of course is reliant on your character's Speed score and other relating circumstantial factors. However, each dodge is defined by how much movement a character must make in order to perform such an act. As such, your character will exhaust themselves much faster in performing dodges that require more exaggerated movements than dodges that require minimal movement.
As such, we have classified dodges within the following three categories.
Class 1 Dodge
Dodges requiring minimal movement. A simple side step, or lean away from the attack will be within this area. These styles of dodges require the least amount of energy to perform, and will cost the character 0 stamina to utilize.
Class 2 Dodge
A dramatic movement to evade an attack. This can be something like a rolling summersault, jumping out of the way or a swift ducking movement. These styles of dodge require some energy to perform and will cost the character 1 stamina to utilize on top of the additional 1 stamina each post for being active in combat.
Class 3 Dodge
An extremely exaggerated movement made to avoid an attack. This type of movement goes so far as to say a mid-air change of direction, a series of complex movements or jumps. This is the most energy that a character can use up in a post from dodging alone. When dodging in this manner, it will cost the character 2 stamina to utilize on top of the additional 1 stamina each post for being active in combat.
